Since migrating west from Iowa 15 years ago, I’ve worked at newspapers and magazines in Fort Collins, Estes Park and Frisco; a destination marketing corporation in Denver and as an independent editorial manager for Colorado ski town magazines. Now, I spend my days as a freelance writer and editor in Breckenridge.

My happiest moments occur when writing and research intersects with raising my son. There’s nothing more soul-nourishing than sharing a new river or trail or mind-opening experience with him and watching his eyes brighten as they set on something new.
